A Winchester woman was killed Sunday in Arlington in what authorities say was a domestic-related shooting.

Travis Renee Baldwin, 57, was found dead in a residence in the Ballston-Virginia Square neighborhood, according to an Arlington County Police Department release. Her son, 27-year-old Logan Chrisinger, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

At approximately 8:28 a.m. Sunday, authorities were dispatched to the 3400 block of Fairfax Drive for a report of a shooting. According to the release, officers found Baldwin suffering from a gunshot wound and administered “lifesaving measures” before she was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
