A Texas man faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl repeatedly in a Hellertown basement over a two-month span.

Santos Ezequiel Gonzalez Zamora, 33, of Houston and with ties to Central America, is charged with felony statutory sexual assault of a child over age 11; involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child under age 16; felony corruption of minors; and misdemeanor indecent assault of a child under age 16.

A warrant was filed on July 31 for Gonzalez Zamora’s arrest. He was apprehended Aug. 10 by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents at a Houston airport, allegedly while attempting to flee the country.

Gonzalez Zamora initially was held at the Harris County jail in Houston before being extradited to Pennsylvania. He was arraigned Tuesday b
