HERMITAGE, Pa. (WKBN) – The matchup that we were all expecting, WKBN's top two teams from the preseason power rankings - Hickory and Farrell - gave the crowd and its viewers a real show as the back-and-forth final quarter resulted in a Hickory 13-12 victory over the mighty-Steelers.

The Hornets have now won 5 of their last 7 contests with Farrell.

Hickory's the defensing 2-time District 10 (3A) champion while Farrell has been crowned the last four District 10 (2A) title holders.

On the opening kickoff, Christian Dungee raced 88-yards for what was – at first glance, before it was determined that he had dropped the ball at the 2 – a touchdown. However, a holding call on the Hornets’ special teams reversed the six-point play.
