NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Health said it recommends closing the swimming area at Spouting Rock Beach Association.
RIDOH said the swimming area at the Newport beach has high bacteria counts.
RIDOH said it monitors bacteria counts in bodies of water through Labor Day.
