MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Panini Senior Bowl has announced the Top 300 list, the first of its kind for NFL prospects.

According to a release from the Senior Bowl, the scouting department, made up of former NFL scouts, evaluated over 2,000 prospects since last February to compose the list.

The list of draft-eligible players only "reflects the highest standards in college football," the release said. Players who make the list are considered to be the best in the country.

Prior lists included over 800 potential prospects. In the spirit of maintaining a high standard, the watchlist was lowered to 300 in order to be more selective.
