MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A local organization helping veterans and first responders is welcoming a new leader.
Kent Davis, a retired admiral and former Alabama Veterans Affairs Commissioner, is now the CEO of Vets Recover in Mobile. The organization offers a wide range of services for veterans, including medical care, mental health treatment, and peer support.
John Kilpatrick, the founder and clinical director of Vets Recover, praised Davis’s leadership experience.
“Kent Davis is just, you know, first of all, a stellar human being. I mean, he's got a nine-page resume that ain't full of fluff. I mean, this dude has done some serious things at the National and international strategic level,” Kilpatrick said.
