ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Delta Air Lines is facing a class action lawsuit for allegedly charging customers extra money for “window” seats that are actually beside a blank wall.

The lawsuit against the Atlanta-based airline was filed Tuesday by passenger Nicholas Meyer of New York City, who accuses Delta of deceptive business practices over the windowless “window” seats.

Meyer claims that when he booked a flight with Delta earlier this month, he selected window seats for both legs of his trip from New York to Orange County, California.

He “reasonably believed, based on Delta’s representations and the seats’ positions on the planes, that both seats would have a window,” for which the lawsuit claims he paid extra.
