DENVER (KDVR) -- A Denver man has been indicted on multiple charges after he was accused of pointing a machine gun at a driver, demanding they get out of the car and taking off with their vehicle, according to the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Colorado.

On Wednesday, the USAO said that a grand jury returned the indictment for 18-year-old Dhal Buk, who faces federal charges for alleged crimes including carjacking, using a machine gun during and in relation to a crime of violence, and unlawful possession of a machine gun.

The charges stem from an alleged armed carjacking that happened in the Montbello neighborhood early on June 25, 2025.

Buk was among a group of people who approached a man sitting in his car that day, according to a press release referencing the crim
