MARBLEHEAD, Mass. —
A 13-year-old girl killed in a car crash in Marblehead, Massachusetts, is being remembered by her mother as a "princess" and wants the person responsible for her death to be held accountable.
Savannah Gatchell, 13, was killed in a car crash on Atlantic Avenue in Marblehead early Tuesday morning.
The driver, a 16-year-old boy, was arrested and was arraigned Wednesday in Lynn Juvenile Court on charges of motor vehicle homicide by reckless operation, receiving a stolen motor vehicle and operating under the influence of liquor, as well as two civil motor vehicle infractions.
Since he is a juvenile, the teen's name has not been released.
"She's my baby, she'll be deeply missed, and always loved," said mother Christine Gatchell.
