WEBSTER, Mass. (WLNE)– The Webster Police Department updated the public on the arrests of three Woonsocket residents suspected in a shooting.

Officers reportedly first engaged the suspects on Aug. 1, when the three drove into the town pursued by other local police departments, and crashed into a telephone pole after police utilized “stop-sticks” to slow the car down.

During the chase, the three had reportedly thrown 118 grams of crack cocaine and 148 grams of cocaine out of the car. Following the crash, the three fled on foot.

Shortly after the crash, officers arrested 25-year-old Chayliana Carr, who allegedly made a false 911 call to get officers away from her position, and briefly led police on another foot chase.
