A person was stabbed Friday morning at Logan International Airport , authorities said.

State Police said in a statement released shortly before 11:30 a.m. that troopers assigned to the airport had “responded to reports of a stabbing.”

Officials said “the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Boston hospital.”

The victim’s name, age, gender, and hometown weren’t released. Suspect information wasn’t immediately disclosed.

“More information will follow when it becomes available,” the statement said. “The matter remains under investigation by the State Police.”

It wasn’t immediately clear where in the facility the stabbing occurred. A Logan spokesperson referred questions to law enforcement.
