ROWESVILLE, S.C. (WIS) - Law enforcement in Orangeburg is investigating after a shooting left two shot and one injured at a Rowesville club on Sunday.

Deputies said they responded to a scene after getting information about an aggravated assault that occurred at Club Start Up in Rowesville.

They then went to MUSC Health in Orangeburg and talked to staff, who informed deputies that two people arrived with gunshot wounds. Staff said the first shooting victim was in a room being worked on after being shot once in the abdomen.

Law enforcement said they were able to contact the second victim, who told them that he was allegedly inside the club when he saw multiple people fighting. The victim said that he then heard gunshots ring out, and as he began to run, he felt a pain in his left leg and
