BOISE, Idaho — A chase through South Boise streets led to the arrest of a man on Tuesday night.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office said a deputy attempted to stop the driver of a black Nissan Rogue for a traffic violation near West Amity Road and South Maple Grove Road just before 9:30 p.m.

The driver did not stop when the deputy indicated, turning first onto West Highlander Drive, then driving east on West Desert Avenue, the sheriff's office said.

He was followed by the deputy to South Latigo Drive, where he exited the car and ran from the area, according to the sheriff's office.

Police, drones and K9 units looked for the driver, who had disappeared from sight, the sheriff's office said.
