WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — This cooler and wetter summer now officially has Wichita on the leaderboards for one of the wettest summers in recorded history. The city has now picked up 17.10" of rain for meteorological summer (which officially runs from June 1 through Aug. 31).
That total places 2025 among the top 10 wettest summers on record in Wichita, with weather data stretching all the way back to 1888.
