RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The parents of a 3-year-old child were arrested in Cold Springs on child abuse/neglect and obstruction charges on Wednesday.
At around 10:30 a.m., deputies with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Oakbrook Court and Oakbrook Lane in Cold Springs for reports of a toddler who was seen wandering the streets alone. The child was only wearing one shoe and did not have a guardian present.
The toddler was returned to their parents prior to police arriving.
When police arrived at the residence the child lived in, their parents refused to answer the door. On Wednesday morning, deputies were able to make contact with the child’s parents, 36-year-old Amber Luck and 48-year-old Jeremy Dalebout, both of Cold Springs.
