BLUE MOUND, Ill. (WAND) - One man is dead following a grain bin accident in Blue Mound.

The Macon County Sheriff's Office told WAND News that it was assisting with a grain bin rescue off Pleasant View Road in Blue Mound Wednesday evening.

MCSO said that the person inside the bin died, and the Tactical Rescue Team is working to recover the body.

MCSO confirmed to WAND that a 70-year-old man is dead.
