CALHOUN COUNTY, MI – Police say thieves targeted two Southwest Michigan car dealerships in overnight break-ins this week.
One suspect was arrested at the scene of the second break-in, while police are still searching for the other suspect who fled the scene, according to a news release from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
Police were dispatched to the scene of the first break-in just before 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at the Battle Creek Honda, in the 1300 block of Dickman Road in Springfield.
Deputies found that 10 vehicles inside a secured gated area at the dealership had been broken into, and additional vehicles were targeted in an unsecured rear lot.
