SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Fairfield National Little League continued its dominant run at the Little League World Series Wednesday afternoon.

The team of 11 and 12-year-olds representing the “Metro” region defeated the group from Las Vegas’ Summerlin South Little League 7-3.

With the victory, Fairfield National improves to 4-0 in Williamsport. The next challenge is the LLWS U.S. Championship game, which will be played on Saturday.

Fairfield National’s next opponent will be decided Thursday evening at 7 p.m. when the squad representing the “Mountain” region plays the one from the “Southeast.”

The winner of the U.S. bracket will face off with the international champion in the LLWS final on Sunday.
