METAIRIE, La. (Louisiana First) — The New Orleans Saints add a missing piece to their offense, a big-bodied wide receiver. The Saints are trading with the Denver Broncos for wide receiver Devaughn Vele, the organization announced Wednesday.

The Broncos received a 2026 fourth-round pick and a 2027 seventh-round pick in exchange for Vele.

The 6'5, 210-pound receiver brings much-needed size to the Saints' receiving room. Before adding Vele, the Saints' tallest receiver was 6'2.

The 2024 seventh-round pick appeared in 13 games, making seven starts in his rookie season with Denver, recording 41 catches for 475 yards and three touchdowns.
