DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - You might remember July 11.

The most disastrous flash flood in decades triggered emergency evacuations throughout the Quad-Cities.

That includes the Woodland Apartments in Davenport. Residents say dozens of units were damaged and condemned by the city.

Now, 40 days later, some residents are still without a home.

“Everybody’s either living in their units or they’re sleeping at someone else’s house, or they’re sleeping in their car in the parking lot at night,” said Diamond Clark.

Her apartment was deemed unlivable by the city. She has nowhere to go and no money for a hotel, so Daimond has been slipping back into her apartment to sleep.
