BARBERTON, Ohio (WOIO) - A 38-year-old man was arrested on North Van Buren Avenue with a loaded firearm and improvised explosive devices on him.

Officers safely secured the gun and isolated the improvised explosive devices.

The road was closed to traffic between East Ford Avenue and East Baird Avenue until the Summit County Bomb Squad showed up secured the explosive devices.

The road was reopened at 830 p.m.

Wilson was arrested and booked into the Barberton City Jail on weapons and drug charges.

He will be arraigned in Barberton Municipal Court Thursday

The investigation is ongoing according to police
