INDIANAPOLIS — A massive data center project in Indianapolis just got another green light, paving the way for development, but not without massive pushback.

Eight out of nine Indianapolis Metropolitan Development commissioners said "yes" at Wednesday's meeting to rezone nearly 470 acres of farmland in Franklin Township for tech giant Google to plant their flag. What followed were tense moments as members of the public booed and shouted at the commissioners.

An attorney representing the Google project, Joe Calderon, faced off with the people opposing the project. Julie Goldsberry is the vice president of the Greater Troy Neighborhood Association and said projects like this are worse than people think.
