PIKE COUNTY, Ill. (WGEM) - The owners of several longtime businesses in Pike County, Illinois, are leaving town.

Both Brewed Coffee House & Eatery locations have now been sold to two different owners under two different names. Both establishments are operational.

The Griggsville location held its ribbon-cutting on Wednesday morning.

Now called Blue 10-41 Coffee LLC, you can still get a pastry and caffeine hit. It will also resume dine-in or drive-thru options.

“We decided [on that name] because we Back the Blue,” said co-owner Gerald Roberts.

Gerald Roberts and his wife, Harmony Roberts, said they want everyone to feel right at home -- particularly law enforcement, military, and first responders.

Gerald Roberts said 10-41 is a code in law enforcement that means “starting your shift,”
