A Winters man will spend 30 days in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman on a flight, according to the U.S. Attorney Eric Grant's Office.

On Aug. 9, 2024, Jeff Lorenzo, 40, was flying from Seattle to Sacramento, officials said, when a 20-year-old woman took the last remaining seat between Lorenzo and his coworker.

During the flight, prosecutors say Lorenzo repeatedly touched the woman without her consent, including grazing her leg with his hand, pressing her arm into her breast multiple times, and at one point putting his head near her crotch on the pretense of picking up a dropped phone.

Prosecutors say Lorenzo's coworkers also reported he had a history of harassing women and inappropriate behavior.
