PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) - The We Matter Community Association, The Center for Fair Housing and Destiny Vision Christian Center, are hosting events to remember the impact Hurricane Katrina had on the community.

Both events are being held at the Destiny Vision Christian Center, one of them is happening Thursday, August 21, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and another Sunday, August 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Shamonee and Bill were joined by General Russel L. Honoré, retired three-star general, and Carletta Davis, President of the We Matter Community Association to talk more about the event.
