OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One person is injured and another person is in custody after a stabbing incident in North Omaha.
Omaha police officers were called to the stabbing at about 6:40 a.m. Thursday in the area of 48th and Taylor streets, near Fontenelle Park.
The incident began with an argument in the parking lot behind an apartment building, an officer on the scene tells First Alert 6.
Then, one person stabbed another in the forehead with a fork or a similar “kitchen object,” according to the officer.
The victim was taken to the hospital, and the suspect was taken into custody after fleeing in a car.
Four or five witnesses of the incident are being questioned by OPD.
The investigation is ongoing.
