WARREN A Warren man indicted on a murder charge and other felonies in connection with an August shooting at a convenience store pleaded not guilty Thursday morning in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Judge Ronald Rice denied bail for 23-year-old Savion Woodall after prosecutors say he was seen on surveillance video at the Elm Road Convenient Food Mart when David Owens III was fatally shot in the parking lot.

A Trumbull County grand jury indicted Woodall on charges stemming from the shooting death. A second man was also wounded in the shooting.

Woodall faces one count of murder with a firearms specification, two counts of having weapons under disability, and one count each of attempted murder, illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premises, tampering with evidence,
