POLAND - Poland Township will not be seeking a renewal of its road levy, which will save residents money on their property tax bills.
Township Trustee Eric Ungaro tells 21 News the township has fully paid off the road levy, which passed in 2018.
Ungaro tells 21 News 85% of the township's roadways were paved as a result of the levy and says a renewal is not needed.
Because the township is not seeking a renewal, residents will see a decrease of $80 per $100,000 of their property value on their property tax bills beginning in February of 2026.
