SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, PENNSYLVANIA— After 32 games of action at the 2025 Little League World Series, two teams have secured their spots in their respective brackets’ championship games.

Fairfield Little League of Connecticut, the Metro Region champions, handed Summerlin South Little League of Nevada its first loss with a 7-3 victory on Wednesday, improving to a perfect 4-0 themselves. Fairfield’s berth in the U.S. championship marks Connecticut’s first appearance in the title game since 2013.

Meanwhile, Asia-Pacific champion Tung-Yuan Little League of Chinese Taipei advanced to the international championship with a 7-3 win over Latin America, improving to 3-0. It marks the third straight year Chinese Taipei will play for the international title.
