When it comes to the temperature the only way is up this August Bank Holiday weekend.
After a cloudy and overcast few days, the sun looks set to make a reappearance at exactly the right time. Conditions are forecast to get steadily warmer and brighter as the weekend progresses - peaking at 25C on Bank Holiday Monday.
It comes as the Met Office told how temperatures are 'warming up' in time for the bank holiday. Writing on X the Met Office said: "It's warming up for the bank holiday weekend. More sunshine, along with winds from continental Europe, will allow temperatures to rise (but no heatwave)."
