The cost of a main, snack and beverage has risen from £3.60 to £3.85 for Clubcard holders, taking effect today (Thursday, 21 August). Shoppers without a Clubcard will witness the price climb from £4 to £4.25.

Nevertheless, some frustrated Tesco customers have revealed this completely deters them from making purchases at the supermarket, stating it's no longer affordable for many, particularly those lacking a Clubcard.
