A dominant final round at the Girls' Golf Alberta U17 Championship propelled Rocky Mountain House's Saylay May to victory.
Saylar, a product of the Pine Hills Golf Club, posted a final round of one-under-71, which was 11 strokes better than any of her competitors. The three-day tournament wrapped up on Thursday, Aug. 21 and was played at Alberta Springs Golf Resort between Red Deer and Sylvan Lake.
"It feels great. I had a tough season last year so it feels good to get things rolling this year. I've been playing really well," said May, who also won the U19 Championship at the Water Valley Golf Club earlier this summer.
