MILWAUKEE (WKOW) — Southwest Airlines is expanding its nonstop service from Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport.
Starting Oct. 2, new daily flights to San Diego will operate five days a week, according to a press release from the airport.
The airline will also increase its service to Austin, Texas, adding additional Sunday flights from March 8. New nonstop flights to Miami will be available on Saturdays during the spring break period starting March 7.
Airport Director Brian Dranzik said, "Southwest’s daily nonstop service to both San Diego and Austin connect Milwaukee with two of the best cities to visit in the U.S., and the Miami flights are timed for cruises."
Additionally, beginning March 5, two daily flights will be added between Milwaukee and Chicago-Midway, providing more co
