TOWN OF FULTON, Wis. (WKOW) -- The Rock County Medical Examiner's Office released the name of the man who died in a house fire on Sunday, August 17.

According to a news release, Fredrick Zilke, 74, was pronounced dead at the scene. Fire officials said he lived in the N Newville Road home in the Town of Fulton that burned down.

Preliminary autopsy results showed Zilke died as a result of the fire. Additional testing is underway.

The Rock County Sheriff's Office and Medical Examiner's Office are still investigating the fire. Investigators said initial reports did not indicate it was suspicious , but no official cause has been determined.
