KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A hint of fall is on the way for next week, so we have a few more days of the average heat and humidity for the next few days.

FRIDAY: Friday, we have a mostly sunny sky for most of the day. A few clouds will give way to a few spotty storms for the afternoon. The isolated storms are mostly confined to the Smoky Mountains. High temperatures on Friday will range from 88 in Knoxville to 85 in Crossville. Winds stay mostly calm.

SATURDAY: A few more clouds and storms will be more available to get us wet. Coverage is at 40%, so most of us stay dry. The best chance is during the afternoon and evening. During the early part of the day you can mow the lawn if you need to.
