MIAMI GARDENS — It’s the time of year that both players and coaches hate. Cutdown day, when NFL rosters must be reduced from 90 players to 53, is Tuesday, with a 4 p.m. deadline.

The Dolphins have tough choices at outside linebacker/edge rusher, offensive line and cornerback, the latter being the biggest area of concern on the team.

Most likely the Dolphins will search the waiver wire after cuts are made leaguewide to see what’s available at starting cornerback and backup offensive line. And running back might be a concern after Jaylen Wright, who is battling Ollie Gordon II for the backup job, left Thursday’s joint practice against Jacksonville with an apparent leg injury.
