As Hurricane Erin churns up surf on her way up the coast, South Jersey shore towns are urging residents to take precautions, securing their properties and moving their vehicles to higher ground if necessary.
These five Jersey Shore towns are providing parking accommodations during Hurricane Erin.
Atlantic City
The Wave Parking Garage at Mississippi and Fairmount Avenues is free to residents and guests from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday. Parking will be permitted on the 2nd floor and above during this time.
Cape May
The city has closed its Bank Street parking lot because of flooding issues, but is advising residents there is parking at its Lafayette Street lot.
Little Egg Harbor Township
The township is allowing residents to park vehicles at its Little Egg Harbor Sports Co
