LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Scattered storms are likely to return Friday, but rain chances are lower for the upcoming weekend.
A slight uptick in rain and storm coverage is expected Friday afternoon as cloud cover builds and a weak front approaches. With scattered storms around, high temperatures on Friday will be a touch cooler with most areas in the upper 80s to near 90. If you get rain, it will not rain all day but keep a close eye on the sky for any outdoor plans.
For the weekend, the weak front will bring slightly drier air to the area starting late Saturday. A few isolated storms still can’t be ruled out, though rain chances look even lower on Sunday.
