DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Rounds of downpours and storms will continue across The Wiregrass, bringing a risk of flooding regionwide.

After a calm, foggy start to your Friday morning, we can expect clear to mostly clear conditions by 8 a.m., followed by increasing rain chances.

The best chance of a shower or storm will be between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Storms could produce heavy rainfall leading to localized flooding and isolated flash flooding. There is also the potential for frequent lightning and gusty winds up to 50 mph.

An isolated marginally severe storm or two is also possible, with the main hazard forecast to be damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph. '
