JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WAVE) - The man accused of killing and beheading his father in a Southern Indiana neighborhood will be moved to a state prison after jail officials say he keeps harming himself.
In court documents filed on Wednesday, prosecutor Jeremy Mull stated Bryce Winnecke had demonstrated “violent or aggressive behavior” that posed a threat to himself.
That statement was backed by Mark Grube, Clark County Sheriff’s Office assistant chief, when Winnecke was back in court on Thursday. Grube explained that the suspect had hit his head intentionally against the concrete floor while in jail.
