CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -- You might notice discolored water if you live in one part of Franklin County next week.
The Borough of Chambersburg Water Department will flush fire hydrants beginning Monday through next week. Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The borough says customers may notice water discoloration and are advised not to use water for drinking or laundry until flushing is concluded.

"After flushing is complete, customers should let the tap run for a few minutes until the water is clear," the borough says. "Additionally, care should be taken when driving on roads where water is actively flushing."
