NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio (WOIO) - The North Royalton Police Department, along with members of the Northeast Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, took two people into custody while executing search warrants at Meiao Foot Spa on Wallings Road Thursday morning.

Officers and detectives raided the spa around 10 a.m.

The two people who were taken into custody will be transferred to the custody of the United States Border Patrol.

Prostitution charges are pending in Parma Municipal Court.

The spa is suspected of engaging in labor and sex trafficking, according to North Royalton Police.

The establishment is no longer open. The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
