DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- The city of progress is gearing up to welcome the second location of a popular fast food joint.

Construction is underway on the new McDonald's at 6012 Boll Weevil Circle. This new location is nestled in a rapidly growing part of the city, surrounded by new businesses and homes.

"The new restaurant shows our commitment to accelerating the arches, which signifies the drive for excellence and growth," said Murpy Family Restaurant Representative, Eddie Byrd. "The City of Enterprise is growing and so is McDonald's, and we are proud to be on the south side of the circle."

The eatery is expected to open in November 2026 and will employ over 70 people.
