PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Monsoon storms made their way into the Valley, bringing much-needed rain and causing problems for electricity customers.

Phoenix Sky Harbor got measurable rain for the first time since July 2!

As of 8:50 p.m., about 4,300 APS customers are without power and more than 11,400 SRP customers don’t have power.eath

The ridge of storms made it over the Mogollon Rim and brought wet weather to Apache Junction, Mesa and Chandler first. A dust cloud was seen around 6:30 p.m. in the southeast Valley.

Gusty winds are expected to stick around Thursday evening so it may be a little hazy for drivers.
