For the first time in a decade, the Chapman Panthers are coming off a losing season.

The proud program from Inman battled injuries and inexperience throughout a difficult 3-8 season, but with the majority of their starters returning, head coach Harry Cabaniss is hopeful his older group is ready to rise to the challenge. Latest Forecast

"It's been really cool to see them now getting a full year under their belt," Cabaniss said. "Really cool to see that growth."

Among the returning starters is quarterback Bryson Cothran, who started several games for the Panthers as a junior last year and was the standout pitcher on Chapman's baseball team last spring.
