Festivalgoers attending Notting Hill Carnival (NHC) and All Points East over the weekend are in for some absolutely cracking weather. The Met Office is forecasting four days of sunny spells, light winds and, best of all, no rain!

Tom Morgan, a meteorologist at the authority, believes temperatures will reach a peak of 25C just in time for The Maccabees long-awaited headline set in Victoria Park and NHC's main parade. He said: "It’s looking fine, dry and there will be quite a bit of warm sunshine around, particularly on Sunday and on Bank Holiday Monday.

"For festivals and outdoor events, the weather should not cause any disruption. It’s looking very summer-like and really pleasant to warm for most."
