A woman who was pulled from a reservoir has been named after a major search and rescue operation.

The body of a woman was recovered from Strinesdale Reservoir on Sunday.

Emergency services attended Strinesdale Reservoir, situated on the A62 between Oldham and Delph, at around 4pm that day after reports of a woman 'getting into difficulty' in the water.

The woman has now been named as 33-year-old Kimberley Johnson, from Oldham, a spokesperson for Rochdale Coroners' Court confirmed.
