The Green Bay Packers will not be releasing wide receiver Romeo Doubs , head coach Matt LaFleur said on Up and Adams.

When LaFleur was asked if the team would consider cutting Doubs, it was a simple answer.

““No, that will not happen,” LaFleur said. “Because Rome is out there competing and doing everything that we need to see from him. Obviously, he’s played a lot of ball for us and at a high level. He’s been a great teammate, and he goes out there and you can count on him every day.”

The Packers once had a deep wide receiver room and could have afforded to move one player after drafting Matthew Golden and Saivion Williams, but Christian Watson is still recovering from his torn ACL, and Jayden Reed has a foot injury that could force him to miss the start of the season.
