WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. - For the first time, four former West Memphis police officers stood in front of the city council in an effort to clear their names after being fired for sexual harassment.

Thursday night's city council meeting was tense as the officers fought to get their jobs back. The officers' attorney said he has evidence of a lie against at least one client.

"She put it in a memo; and put it in an email; and she told it to the HR manager to her face; and she told it to the mayor no less than four times that Stacy Allen never sexually harassed her," the attorney said.
