SELLERSBURG, Ind. (WAVE) - Indiana State Police have arrested a man from Sellersburg for possession of child sexual abuse material, the department announced Friday.
The arrest comes at the conclusion of a month-long investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children section of the ISP. That investigation began when they received information about a man suspected of possessing child sexual abuse material.
The investigation identified the suspect as 40-year-old Adam Metzger. Thursday, detectives served search warrants on Metzger’s residence. That search led to the arrest of Metzger on two counts of possession of child sex abuse material, which is a level 5 felony. As the investigation unfolds, potential charges could be added.
Metzger is being held at Clark County Jail.
